Hot on the heels of Sony’s China-exclusive PS4 bundles, the company has today unveiled a couple of new PS4 Slim SKUs that will exclusively release in Taiwan.
Taiwanese retailers are now accepting orders for the consoles, which complete complete with a copy of either Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End or Dragon Quest Heroes II.
Most interestingly, however, is the bundles’ branding. Rather than primarily focusing on the PS4 itself or each edition’s pack-in game, the units’ packaging devotes their front covers to Ai Chan, a female anime character who happens to be PlayStation’s official mascot in the country.
Taiwanese gamers can also purchase official vinyl stickers for their console featuring the character.
Ai Chan was designed by artist Vofan, and has featured prominently in PS4 marketing in the country; she also appeared on the packaging of last year’s Taiwanese PS4 bundles:
