The latest title update for Square Enix’s Final Fantasy XV is now live on Xbox One and PS4.
Patch 1.03 clocks in at 3.74GB on Xbox One and 3.2GB on the PS4. According to the game’s update history, the patch includes the recently announced New Game Plus mode, “various bug fixes” and a variety of free “additional bonus content”, which is thought to include the following:
- Warrior’s Fanfare – A scroll of sheet music containing a song of jubilation that provides additional AP for earning an A+ in Offense outside of training.
- Nixperience Band – A device that stops experience points from being tallied, preventing the party from leveling up for an added challenge.
- Carnival Passport – An adorably adorned ticket that whisks the bearer away to a fun-filled carnival for a limited time.
The patch also paves the way for the RPG’s first paid DLC pack, as well as providing the groundwork for the Moogle Chocobo Carnival event, which is set to launch in January.
If you’ve yet to pick up Final Fantasy XV, now may be the perfect time: it is Amazon’s current deal of the day, where it can be picked up for only $34.99.
