Online retailing giant Amazon has revealed its best-selling video games of the 2016 holiday season.
In a press release, the company confirmed that Pokémon Sun, Pokémon Moon and Final Fantasy XV were the hottest titles of this Christmas.
While the PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive failed to make any of its categorised best-selling lists, Samsung’s Gear VR sneaked in as the third-hottest wearable technology product of the season.
While no sales figures were revealed, the company teased: “If each Amazon.com customer who purchased Pokémon Sun and Moon this holiday spent at least an hour a day playing the game since its release, our customers would have spent the equivalent of more than 24 thousand lunar cycles capturing Pokémon.”
