A number of UK-based retailers have today indicated when they expect to receive fresh stock of Sony’s PlayStation VR headset, which has been in short supply since launching in October.
According to leading British supermarket chain Tesco, their online subsidiary Tesco Direct will have units available from January 31, while online retailer Amazon UK has emailed customers to tell them it expects to receive stock from Sony between January 31 and February 15 – although it says systems could potentially arrive within the next couple of weeks. Similarly, Shopto is also guaranteeing a restock by the end of this month.
Meanwhile, Amazon’s Spanish arm is currently conducting a ‘pre-sale’ on PSVR, which is available exclusively to Prime subscribers. According to the company’s listing for the headset, it will receive a limited amount of stock from January 6.
