Destiny 2 Puzzle Removed as Nobody Could Solve It

Destiny 2 Black Armory DLC was released a while back and the final forge was locked behind a secret puzzle that needed to be solved in order to gain access to the additional content. Bungie made this a global event and was even available to people that did not pay for the expansion.

A day since the puzzle was announced, nobody in the community was able to solve the puzzle and that was a bit frustrating for people that paid for the Destiny 2 Black Armory DLC.

I see the idea behind the puzzle and that people would come together to solve it just like getting through a raid or any other mission where you need other players to join you but this would have gone well if the content was not paid and people had not paid for the Black Armory DLC.

Bungie is not pulling the plug on the puzzle and people will have access to the content once the puzzle is solved or the time duration for the event has expired. The following is what the developer had to say regarding the matter:

“While coming together as a community to solve puzzles can be fun, setting this puzzle up as a gate between you and new content that you want to play has not been an ideal experience. As such, we will be decoupling the puzzle from the final offering of the Black Armory. All Annual Pass owners will be able to experience the Bergusia Forge when the puzzle is solved or when the deadline expires – whichever happens first.”

Bungie has also announced that it will be parting ways with Activision. Both have had their tension in the past and it seems that Bungie will have the rights to Destiny even though the 10-year contract is not over yet. Fans are excited about the future of the franchise and what will come next. Bungie has announced that there will be more content coming our way. That might be more content for Destiny 2 or the announcement for Destiny 3.

It will be interesting to see what Bungie has in store for us so stay tuned for more information and further updates regarding the matter.
