Pokemon Sword and Shield Trailer Reveals New Features

Pokemon Sword and Shield

Pokemon Sword and Shield is the next title in the Pokemon franchise coming to the Nintendo Switch and Switch Lite. A new trailer has revealed new features that will be part of the game. Some of the features like Gigantamaxing are completely new.

If you do not know, Gigantamaxing is a feature of the game and this allows some Pokemon to grow larger than their regular size. Pokemon Sword and Shield is going to release on November 15th. Game Freak has got some criticism about the animations of the game but I am sure that is not going to stop the game from selling millions of copies. You can check out the trailer below:

Gigantamaxing does look like a cool new feature and from what we know, it will only last a couple of turns. After that, the Pokemon will return to its normal form. The player will have some advantages when Gigantamaxing for a Pokemon. It will be interesting to see how this new feature impacts the mechanics of the game and how the balancing is altered.

Pokemon Sword and Shield takes players to the new Galar region and we know about some new Pokemon including Yamper, Rolycoly, Alcremie and Duraludon. You will be able to catch these Pokemon in the new game. Two new legendary Pokemon Zacian and Zamazenta have also been announced but we know very little about the two.

A special edition Zacian and Zamazenta version of the Nintendo Switch Lite is also going to release a week before the release of the game. If you are interested in getting the special edition version then you can ahead of the launch of Pokemon Sword and Shield.

Let us know what you think about Pokemon Sword and Shield and whether or not you are interested in playing the game when it comes out on September 20th.
