Destiny 2 Solstice of Heroes 2019 Armor Upgrades And Activities

Solstice of Heroes 2019 event is live in Destiny 2 and you have the chance to earn armor 2.0 before the launch of the next expansion, Shadowkeep. In order to do that, you will need to grind the event and upgrade your armor to the max. You can do that for a single class or all three depending on how much grind you are willing to go through.

Solstice of Heroes 2019 Armor And Activities

The armor that you get at the start is similar to what you get when you start the base game. You will need to upgrade it. You start off with the Drained Armor, upgrading it once will get you the Renewed Armor. After grinding and upgrading the pieces you will get the Majestic Armor. Lastly, you can upgrade a final time to get the Masterworked armor.

During the event, players can take advantage of the rotating elemental burn. Killing enemies with the element that matches the burn will get you Elemental Orbs. Getting 30 of these will get you a powerful buff. The following is how this works for the different subclasses:

• Equip your Arc subclass and weapons to generate Arc orbs. Then, collect them to wield their Arc elemental power. While empowered, Guardians move with enhanced speed and deal greater melee and Sword damage.
• Equip your Solar subclass and weapons to generate Solar orbs. Then, collect them to wield their Solar elemental power. While empowered, Guardians emit a burning wave of energy that damages anything around them.
• Equip your Void subclass and weapons to generate Void orbs. Then, collect them to wield their Void elemental power. Crouch while empowered to become invisible and gain Truesight plus enhanced ability regeneration.

Upgrading Drained Armor

You will start off with the Drained Armor. This is similar to what you get at the start of the base game the previous Solstice of Heroes event. You can get the armor from Eva but in order to upgrade the different pieces, you will need to complete a couple of objectives. The objectives that you need to complete are as follows:

Hunter

The following are the objectives that you need to complete to upgrade the Drained Armor for the Hunter class:

Helmet 

• Complete runs through the European Aerial Zone.
• Get precision kills.
• Defeat Fallen.

Gauntlets 

• Complete playlist strikes.
• Collect Solar orbs in Gambit or Crucible.
• Unlock Solstice packages.

Chest 

• Loot European Aerial Zone chests.
• Collect any Elemental Orbs.
• Defeat enemies in the European Aerial Zone while using a Solar subclass.

Boots 

• Complete public events on Nessus.
• Complete Solstice of Heroes bounties.
• Defeat enemy Guardians in Crucible or Gambit.

Cloak 

• Complete Adventures.
• Collect Arc orbs from Strikes.
• Complete Crucible or Gambit matches.

Titan

The following are the objectives that you need to complete to upgrade the Drained Armor for the Titan class:

Helmet 

• Complete runs through the European Aerial Zone.
• Get precision kills.
• Defeat Hive.

Gauntlets 

• Loot European Aerial Zone chests
• Complete Solstice of Heroes bounties
• Defeat enemies in the European Aerial Zone while using an Arc subclass

Chest 

• Complete Adventures.
• Collect Solar orbs from Strikes.
• Complete Crucible or Gambit matches.

Boots 

• Complete public events on Nessus.
• Collect Void orbs in Crucible or Gambit.
• Unlock Solstice packages.

Mark 

• Complete playlist Strikes
• Collect any Elemental Orbs
• Complete Crucible and Gambit matches

Warlock

The following are the objectives that you need to complete to upgrade the Drained Armor for the Warlock class:

Helmet 

• Complete runs through the European Aerial Zone.

• Defeat Cabal.

Gauntlets 

• Complete playlist Strikes.
• Collect any Elemental Orbs.
• Kill Guardians in Gambit or Crucible.

Chest 

• Complete Adventures.
• Collect Arc orbs in Crucible or Gambit.
• Unlock Solstice packages.

Boots 

• Loot European Aerial Zone chests.
• Collect Solar orbs in Strikes.
• Defeat enemies in the European Aerial Zone while using a Void subclass.

Bond 

• Complete public events on Nessus.
• Complete Solstice of Heroes bounties.
• Complete Crucible or Gambit matches.

Upgrade Renewed Armor

Once you have upgraded to the Renewed Armor, you can update it to the Majestic Armor. In order to do that, you will need to complete the following objectives:

Hunter

The following are the objectives that you need to complete to upgrade the Renewed Armor for the Hunter class:

Helmet 

• Complete bounties.
• Open chests in the European Aerial Zone.
• Defeat enemies with Arc weapons.

Gauntlets 

• Complete Heroic Public Events.
• Collect Arc orbs in Strikes.
• Defeat Cabal using a subclass that matches the daily elemental bonus.

Chest 

• Complete Gambit matches.
• Collect Elemental Orbs using a subclass that matches the daily elemental bonus.
• Defeat enemies with Void grenades.

Boots 

• Complete Challenges.
• Defeat enemies in Strikes using a subclass that matches the daily elemental bonus as a team.
• Kill enemy Guardians in Gambit and Crucible with Void weapons.

Cloak 

• Complete Patrols in the EDZ.
• Collect any Elemental Orbs in the European Aerial Zone.
• Defeat minibosses in the European Aerial Zone.

Titan

The following are the objectives that you need to complete to upgrade the Renewed Armor for the Titan class:

Helmet 

• Complete Gambit matches.
• Collect Elemental Orbs in any matchmade activities using matching subclasses as a team.
• Defeat enemy Guardians in Crucible or Gambit with Arc weapons

Gauntlets 

• Complete Heroic Public Events.
• Complete Challenges.
• Defeat minibosses in the European Aerial Zone.

Chest 

• Defeat enemies in Strike playlists using the daily elemental bonus subclass.
• Open chests in the European Aerial Zone.
• Defeat Fallen using the daily elemental bonus subclass.

Boots 

• Complete bounties.
• Collect Void orbs in Strikes.
• Defeat enemies with Solar melee kills.

Mark 

• Complete Patrols on Io.
• Collect any Elemental Orbs in the European Aerial Zone.
• Kill enemies with Solar weapons.

Warlock

The following are the objectives that you need to complete to upgrade the Renewed Armor for the Warlock class:

• Defeat enemies in Strike playlists using a subclass that matches the daily elemental bonus.
• Collect any Elemental Orbs in the European Aerial Zone.
• Defeat minibosses in the European Aerial Zone.

• Complete bounties.
• Collect Elemental Orbs using matching subclasses with your team.
• Defeat enemy Guardians in Gambit or Crucible.

• Complete Gambit matches.
• Complete Challenges.
• Defeat enemies with Void weapons.

• Complete Heroic Public Events.
• Collect Solar orbs in Strikes.
• Defeat Hive using a subclass that matches the daily elemental bonus.

Masterworks Armor

After upgrading your armor to Majestic, you can complete the following objectives to Masterwork your armor pieces:

Hunter

• Complete a Prestige Nightfall with a score of over 200,000.

Gauntlets 

• Complete playlist Strikes with clanmates.

Chest 

• Complete the Shattered Throne dungeon with two or fewer players.

Boots 

• Reset your Season 7 Valor.

Cloak 

• Defeat challenging enemies.

Titan

The following are the objectives that you need to complete to upgrade the Majestic Armor for the Titan class:

• Complete a Prestige Nightfall with a score of over 200,000.

Now that you have upgraded the Solstice of Heroes Armor in Destiny 2 to the max, you can also get the glow effect. This will be available from the Eververse store. You can buy the effects with Silver or Star Dust.
