Doom Eternal Delayed Until March 2020

Doom creators id Software has confirmed they have delayed Doom Eternal until March 2020. They broke the news on their official Twitter stating they want the game to “live up to our standards of speed and polish.”

Although disappointing for fans that were hoping to play it sooner, at least we know id Software are committed to creating a finished product. Delays can be frustrating but it’s refreshing to know that the company cares enough to risk the backlash in the short term in the hopes of releasing a fitting sequel to Doom (2016).

It’s been confirmed that Doom 64 will also be re-released on multiple platforms and will come as a pre-order bonus for Doom Eternal.

Good things come to demon slayers who wait!
