5 More Games We’re Looking Forward To In 2020

We don’t want you thinking we’re looking forward to these any more or any less than the previous 5! We’re excited about every single one, so here’s another 5 games we’re looking forward to in 2020:

Cyberpunk 2077

CDPR Cyberpunk 2077

So first, Keanu Reeves is in it. Secondly the game is being developed by the same team who made The Witcher games. So those are some reasons to be cheerful. Cyberpunk 2077 is really riding the hype train and could be the next big thing. Let’s hope it lives up to expectations. Did we mentioned Keanu Reeves is in it?

Nioh 2

Nioh

The first Nioh game was excellent, it was much more than a Dark Souls clone but FROM’s influence was obvious. A sequel was bound to happen, but we felt the original didn’t quite get the attention it deserved. Perhaps the success of Sekiro will encourage more people to jump into Nioh. After all both are similar to Souls and set in feudal Japan. The difference is; while Sekiro was a stealth game just as much as a slasher, Nioh 2 will be all about the combat.

Diablo 4

Diablo

So we’re not 100% sure this one is coming in 2020, but we sure hope so. The game has been announced for PS4 and Xbox One which implies it will be. Next gen consoles will be with us by the end of the year so we do expect to see Diablo 4 on those too. But regardless, the game is coming and Diablo has never been so popular. The fourth entry seems to be going back to its dark roots with a new visual art style and engine.

Marvel’s The Avengers

Marvel's Iron Man VR

After the success of SpiderMan on PS4 we’re intrigued to see how The Avengers shapes up. A game that allows us to play as each member of the team during cinematic moments that made the movies so popular could be great fun. We’re amazed it’s not happened sooner. There’s still so much we don’t know about the game, but that’s not stopped us being excited to play it properly.

Resident Evil 3 (remake)

And back to Raccoon City we go. After the enormous success of the the Resident Evil 2 remake, the third entry getting the same treatment became inevitable. We only have 4 months to wait and that’s rather incredible. While we expect it to be similar to RE2, there will be some stark differences. RE3 was always a bigger and more frantic game, but was still pure survival horror. We absolutely cannot wait to go back to the city of the dead.
