Red Dead Redemption 2, or RDR2, is a fan favorite, and not only is it a great game, but you can use cheats to make it even better. Cheat codes can be used to do things such as get infinite ammo, refill your stamina or your health, and spawn horses. How To Activate Cheats In Red Dead Redemption 2
Before you activate cheats in RDR2, you should know that doing so disables saves and achievements. So you might want to save the game before you activate cheats.
- To activate a cheat code, you need to:
- Pause the game
- Select Settings
- Enter cheats menu, Triangle (PS) or Y (Xbox)
- In the cheats menu, press Triangle or Y again to access the text bar
- Enter the cheat code
Once you have entered a code, you will get a confirmation message of the cheat becoming unlocked. You can turn off cheats to turn on saves and get achievements back.
Some cheat codes might not work when you enter them since they have requirements. The most common requirement is newspapers. These can be bought from different newspaper sellers in towns. They are unlocked after you complete certain chapters or missions in RDR2.
