Xur is the infamous and mysterious Agent of the Nine, and he returns to Destiny 2 in the next installment of the popular looter shooter, The Final Shape. With a fresh set of offerings and a new vendor reputation system, Xur is set to change the meta with new rewards, and this DLC also introduces a new way to interact with this enigmatic character.
Where is Xur Today?
Xur’s constantly changing location is ending with The Final Shape. Meaning you won’t need to scour different planets each week. His permanent location is in the Tower, and his icon (the Agent of the Nine symbol), will be clearly visible on the map. Though he will still change positions in the Tower, this will make it much easier to find him, but there are slight changes in how Xur operates from now on.
Xur Reputation System and Strange Coins
Xur now has a reputation system that increases as you spend Strange Coins on his wares. Leveling up your reputation unlocks additional rewards, giving you even more reasons to visit him each weekend.
Strange Coins are earned by completing various activities throughout the game, including:
- Strikes
- Gambit
- Crucible
These activities are also great for acquiring the new Pathfinder rewards, so you’ll be efficiently working towards both goals at once.
Farming has never been more rewarding in Destiny 2 and with these activities, you will have a healthy stock of Strange Coins to spend on Xur’s enticing offerings each weekend.
What is Xur Selling This Week (June 7-11th)?
Exotic Armor:
- Warlock: Verity’s Brow (Helmet) – Great stat distribution and enhances grenade damage and regeneration.
- Hunter: Raiju’s Harness (Chest Armor) – Not recommended due to weak stat roll this week.
- Titan: Lion Rampant (Leg Armor) – Excellent for mobility and jumping puzzles, solid stat roll.
Exotic Weapons:
- Hawkmoon (Hand Cannon) – Surplus perk for this week.
- Cerberus+1 (Auto Rifle) – Specific roll includes Four-Headed Dog, Spread Shot Package, Rifled Barrel/Fluted Barrel, Full Bore.
