Upon returning from the bunker, Gunny will brief you about the mission. He will then send you to locate and extract the missing operator. An operator was sent to negotiate a ceasefire with the rebels, but he has yet to return or contact the Base. Your main objective will be look for him ‘The Negotiator’, and eliminate any opponent AI in the way. This task is assigned to you after finishing The New Neighbour Task.
How to Complete The Negotiator in Gray Zone Warfare
After arriving at the camp, look for enemy AI opponents and try to defeat them. You will need a key called the YBL OFC 2 key in order to unlock the door which contains the negotiator. The key has a very low spawn rate in the game so it will take some time and effort to kill enemy AI and have one of them drop the key. Keep on downing AI soldiers and looking for the YBL OFC 2 Key.
As a last resort, if you fail to locate the key, you need to ask any member of your faction who might have completed the task earlier to have them open the door for you using their key. The door might be open in some cases for you if any member of your faction already has the key. However, it is still suggested to look around and defeat Ai until you receive the drop, or you can also head to the game’s official server and list your faction for the key.
Upon having the key, head to the second office door through the stairs. From the main complex, you need to use the staircase to get down to the office door. It is the second office door at the bottom floor of the YBL-1 Bunker. The bunker is also known as the Hole, and once you open the door you’ll find the Negotiator on the chair. Just move closer to him and investigate the area, and this will, in turn, have completed ‘The Negotiator’ task required by Gunny.
