The pre-expansion update for WoW The War Within kicked on July 23, with the expac releasing on August 22. The Season 1 update for WoW The War Within arrives roughly 2 and half weeks after the expansion update launched, and it brings new Mythic+ Dungeons, alongside a Nerubian Palace Raid.
