Walking around town with your gun out in Watch Dogs Legion will turn some heads and cause alarm. So, you should definitely holster your firearm when you aren’t in combat. In this Watch Dogs Legion guide, I go over how to holster your weapon.
Your character does not put it back guns once pulled out. This can alarm civilians and they can notify the authorities about the suspicious activity. You do not want the attention of law enforcement. Holstering your weapons allows you to blend into the crowd, allowing you to keep a low profile.
How to Stow Your Weapon in Watch Dogs Legion
You can holster your weapon in Watch Dogs Legion by pressing down on the controller D-pad. If you are playing with a mouse and keyboard then you can press the T key. Not only does your character put the weapon back but also removes the mask. To bring out your weapon again you can press the left trigger or right click to aim your weapon and in the process automatically taking it out.
Remember that the holster button is not used to unholster your weapon. Melee weapons are used automatically when you get into a fight or press the melee button (X/Square, F). You will need to use the left trigger or the right click to take aim and unholster your weapon.
I can recommend getting the AR Shroud stealth tech which hides bodies when you eliminate targets. This will allow you to hide the evidence of your mistakes. It is a nice upgrade to help you hide your tracks.
I can also recommend the Attract Hack which attracts enemies using a sound. You can use this to lure enemies away from you or into a trap.
