Death Stranding 2: How to Get a Vehicle

Riding Tri Cruiser DS 2

Getting a vehicle in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach has its perks, but walking down through the mountains brings a great sense of serenity. Since Sam is tasked with delivering materials throughout the continent, walking a long distance can be hectic.

However, there is an option to use a vehicle to make these deliveries hassle-free. Additionally, these vehicles will allow you to carry more materials and distribute your weight evenly across them. Here is everything you need to know about vehicles in Death Stranding 2 and how you can craft them.

How to Craft a Vehicle in Death Stranding 2?

Before heading out to deliver the scheduled items, you will receive the option to manage and fabricate items. Fabricating equipment will enable you to craft them on the go for your convenience during your journey.

Including equipment, you can fabricate vehicles in the game if you have the schematics. Head to the Fabrication menu and open the Garage. Inside, you will have the option to assemble a vehicle using the items you are carrying by hovering over the empty sections. Having insufficient items will block you from crafting one.

There are various schematics; the most common one is Tri Cruiser, which is available by default when the vehicle fabrication feature is unlocked. It requires 10 Chemicals, 160 Ceramics, and 220 Metals. Once the fabrication is complete, you can either put the new vehicle in your garage or place it in the elevator to use it immediately.

Additionally, furthering the story unlocks the Online Garage, allowing you to access other players’ vehicles for your convenience.

Stealing Vehicles

Stealing already-fabricated vehicles from enemy bases will have consequences. Unlike your vehicle, you can’t do the following with them:

  • Unable to store the vehicle in your garage
  • Unable to repair the vehicle in your garage
  • Recharging is limited only to the structures you create.
