bark avatar frontiers of pandora feature

Bark is very useful as a resource in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. However, while the iconic alien planet is full of trees, you can’t just pick Bark from anywhere. There are tons of sights and scenes to behold throughout the game. And the game’s world feels like your oyster. But sometimes, when you are trying to get resources in open-world titles, you just want to find them and head out. I know I have, especially when I am trying to craft something. Sightseeing is the last thing on my mind. Ubisoft has shown gamers various worlds full of exploration, like in Star Wars Outlaws. Avatar is no different, and the different Bark in the game is necessary for crafting if you want to survive this massive world.

Where to Find Bark in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora?

Bark can be found all around Pandora due to the various types that players can harvest. For example, Blood Leaf Bark in Crimson Trees Biome, Scale Bark in the Rainforest, or even Stairfoot Bark in Thorny Wilds. There are over six different types of Bark that you can find through Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. While it can take some time to transition from one biome to another, gaining an understanding of where each Bark is located can narrow down the time. Not only that, but when you get to the area, you can use the Na’vi Senses to scan for the right trees to harvest from. The following are the known locations for each bark:

  • Blood Leaf Bark: Found on the Blood Leaf Trees (covered in red leaves) within the Crimson Trees Biome of the Upper Plains.
  • Canyon Pine Bark: On Canyon Pine Trees within the Clouded Forest.
  • Cloud Pine Bark: Located on Cloud Pine Trees within the Cluster Pines Biome of Pandora. You can find this in the Clouded Forest area of Pandora.
  • Crimson Bark: Can be acquired from the Braided Crimson Trees in the Scarlet Thicket Biome of the game. This biome is situated in the Clouded Forest location.
  • Scale Bark: Can be harvested from the Twisted Scale Trees (blue in color) in the Rainforest Biome within the Kinglor Forest region. The best place to look is around Dyer’s Falls.
  • Stairfoot Bark: Covered in fungus and massive in size, the Stairfoot Trees have this bark. Players need to head to the Great Roots Biome to acquire this specific resource. Within the area of Kinglor Forest.
  • Windbent Bark: When it comes to Windbent Bark, it covers the Windbent Trees in the Wild Purple Steppe Biome. If you need the region, it is the Upper Plains locale.

What is Bark Needed for in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora?

Bark has a variety of uses in Avatar. Players can use it for cooking purposes or even to help with healing. However, the most vital uses are for both crafting gear and weapons in the game. With plenty of tools in your arsenal needing the different types of bark. Because of this, players should try to acquire as many of each type as possible. Furthermore, if you want to get better qualities, be sure to go to the areas at night and harvest them.

Because of the Na’vi Senses, you can highlight the trees within the area. With that, it will detail exactly what ones you are looking at. Such as in the image above. By doing so, you are going to save plenty of time trying to look for the Bark you need. So if you are looking to craft different gear with the resource, you don’t need to worry about getting lost on the planet.
