Will Forza Horizon 6 Be Crossplay?
Yes, Forza Horizon 6 is going to feature full crossplay capabilities at launch on May 19th. This means players on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S can all race together. The PS5 version of the game is launching later in the year. However, this doesn’t stop the game from having the feature ready to go. So that when PlayStation players launch into the game, they will instantly be able to race with friends and foes on other platforms after the initial tutorial races.
Additionally, Forza Horizon 5 features the crossplay mechanic as well. When I booted the game on PS5 at launch, the option was already toggleable. So it doesn’t surprise me that the latest installment will feature it as well. Overall, it seems like, as time goes on, more multiplayer games are embracing the feature.

Forza Horizon 6 will feature full cross-progression when the game launches. Players can save on one platform and carry it over to another through their shared profile. Something that is connected to the game in the cloud. So if you are looking to switch platforms and keep all of your progress, you will easily be able to. This is the first time that the series is going to feature full cross-progression for players. With the previous entry, PlayStation players weren’t able to bring their save over and had to start fresh on a different platform. Luckily, now, this is no longer a case to worry about.
Forza Horizon 6 being full crossplay and cross-progression is a big step for the series. Allowing even more players to enjoy the game wherever they wish. Furthermore, it opens the door to players getting to continue playing with friends or making new ones on different consoles.
