It’s hard to figure out how to use the B-1 Supply Pack in Helldivers 2. It took me a while to figure it out. At first glance, it may seem obvious that it’s a backpack to help you top up your squad’s supplies. Whether it’s ammo, grenades, or even stims. But trying to figure out how to use the Supply Pack can be tricky, and if you don’t know, you can even use it yourself. So, before you run around the battlefield with the Supply Pack, we can help you work it. Additionally, if you aren’t sure how to unlock it, we can also lay it out for you.
How to Unlock the Supply Pack in Helldivers 2
Players can purchase the B-1 Supply Pack Stratagem for 4,000 Requisition Slips. When you spawn into your Super Destroyer, head to the Stratagem station directly ahead of you from the pods you load in from. Next, navigate to the “Engineering Bay” category in this menu and purchase it there to unlock it. The fortunate thing is, players don’t need to rank up to be able to unlock the Supply Pack, as it’s available at Level 1.
However, because you need Requisition Slips, you’re going to need to drop into a couple of missions. Getting 4,000 Slips doesn’t take that long, though. In a mission or two, you will have enough to be able to get the Stratagem. It’s one of the earlier game items that you can and should unlock. Not only is it useful for your squad, but you can also use it to top up on supplies if need be.
How to Use the Supply Pack
If you are looking to resupply yourself, press the down directional button on console or the “5” key on PC. Furthermore, if you are resupplying your teammates, you can run up to them and press “E” on PC, “X” on PlayStation, and “A” on Xbox. It’s also important to keep tabs on how many supply packs are slotted into your backpack. Once all four of them are used, you can’t resupply. That is, however, until you fill up the Resupply Pack again. To do this, you need to call down a standard Resupply Pod and grab the supplies from it. Once you do, all of the empty slots will be filled again, and you can begin resupplying yourself and your team. Players can and should keep repeating the process to ensure everyone is fully stocked as much as possible.
When it comes to having the Resupply Pack, it’s always good to be around your other squad mates. If you are playing with others on your team, that is. This way, you are helping everyone out by keeping them full of ammo, stims, and more. And if you get killed, they can try to spawn you back on your Resupply Pack. It’s more of a key Stratagem than you may believe. And while it doesn’t deal damage like some of the best ones in Helldivers 2, it’s still one you should have on your team.
