Military Result Points, also known as simply MRP, in Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve are the main campaign currency, which you can spend on the Aircraft Tree for planes, special weapons, and upgrade parts. This guide will provide you with some of the fastest MRP farming methods in the game.
Campaign & Free Mission MRP Farming
You can replay missions that yield the highest number of MRP after unlocking Free Mission mode, where you need to prioritize high target count missions with dense ground clusters, ships, or mixed forces, as these build your MRP score the fastest via volume of kills rather than pure dogfights. Here’s what you need to do:
- Play on ACE difficulty once you unlock it for the biggest MRP multipliers.
- Aim for an S rank by destroying as many targets as possible and as quickly as possible.
- Minimize damage and deaths, and avoid excessive checkpoints.
- Match your loadout to the mission briefing and use efficient special weapons, such as FAEB, SFFS, or UGB.
- Equip parts that aid speed, missile reload, and gun accuracy to clear missions even faster.
- Destroy everything you can, including non-objective targets, before extracting.
Also, try to pick shorter missions instead of the long story ones for a higher MRP per hour rate once you can S-rank them consistently. Note that first clears often give bonuses, while subsequent S-ranks on ACE are where the actual grind begins.
Multiplayer Co-Op Modes MRP Farming
Note that online multiplayer uses a separate progression system and unlocks, where campaign Aircraft Tree progress does not carry over. There are three types of co-op missions that you can do to maximize your multiplayer MRP yield. Here they are:

- Use a pre-made squad of 4 via the Air Base lobby and directional pad communication.
- Note that randoms lower your win rate and clear rank, so aim for a balanced loadout.
- Prioritize attackers with FAEB, SFFS, and UGB special weapons for ground clusters that yield the highest base score.
- You can also use fighters with QAAM, LAAM, and HVAA against bombers, aces, and bosses.
- Target clustered ground with tanks and AA for extremely high yield with area weapons.
