Capcom has revealed the details for the anticipated Monster Hunter Wilds x Final Fantasy XIV crossover, the main inclusion of Title Update 3. This collaboration, announced during the Tokyo Game Show 2025, will launch on September 29, 2025. It will introduce a number of content inspired by the MMO.

The highlight of the update is a new monster called Omega Planetes. This enemy comes from Final Fantasy IV and will be available for hunters of Hunter Rank (HR) 41 and above. Aside from this hunt, players will get access to a Chocobo mount and encounters with Cactuar. All of this promises to mix the aesthetics of both franchises.

Of course, to ensure the collaboration is more widespread, players will also be able to acquire Final Fantasy-themed weapons, armor, cosmetics, special actions, and more. This is all separate from the Title Update 3 content, which will drop throughout the season.

What Is the Monster Hunter Wilds 2025 Roadmap?

After the September 29 release of the crossover, the schedule will continue on October 22, 2025. This date will mark the debut of Arch-Tempered Nu Udra through a new event quest. From October 22 to November 12, the seasonal Festival of Accord: Dreamspell will be active.

The roadmap ends with the planned release of Title Update 4 in December 2025, promising an Elder Dragon, expanded end-game content, and more festivities. Capcom’s plan ensures a stream of new challenges and events for hunters throughout the year.
