TGS 2015: Bloodborne Expansion Coming November 24

The bleak and howling streets, crypts and freaks of Bloodborne were fearsome, gothic and outrageously enjoyable. For those of you sadists out there craving more blood, sweat, and tears, the PlayStation Blog earlier today revealed the game’s first expansion: The Old Hunters.

It will be released for the satisfyingly lean price of £11.99/$19.99 and shall include “a nightmare world where hunters from the past are trapped forever” where you can “explore brand new stages full of dangers, rewards, and deadly beasts to overcome. You’ll find multiple new outfits and weapons to add to your arsenal as well as additional magic to wield and add more variety to your combat strategy.”

Furthermore, a smattering of new NPCs, lore, and a new boss named Ludwig, shall be added to Bloodborne’s already monstrous roster of denizens.

In addition to this announcement, From Software producer Masaaki Yamagiwa revealed that Bloodborne has sold through more than 2 million units worldwide over both retail and downloadable versions.

In the meantime, be sure to check out our Bloodborne review, as well as the fantastically morose trailer below.
