With pre-E3 leaks coming in thick and fast, it appears that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is getting a definitive edition that will arrive on PS4 and Xbox One on the 23rd November 2016. The information was leaked from UK retailler Base.com, who have opened up a pre-order page for the game.
This leak has occurred ahead of Bethesda’s E3 press conference on June 12th. Previous rumours had suggested that a remastered version of Skyrim would be announced at the event, but this appears to be the strongest evidence so far of the game’s existence.
No further detail surrounding contents of the Definitive Edition is listed, but the game is priced at £39.99, making this a full priced release.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was initially released in November 2011 on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. The game has received widespread critical acclaim since its release, and has sold extremely well, selling through over 20 million copies by the end of 2013.
