The Afterbirth expansion for the critically acclaimed roguelike The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth may soon be heading to the PS Vita, if a recent image tweeted by its creator is any indication.
Despite telling users last year that the outlook was “not good” for a possible Vita port of the PC, PS4 and Xbox One game, Nicalis founder Tyrone Rodriguez tweeted out an image earlier today that appeared to show the game’s icon on the homepage of Sony’s ailing portable console.

If the news turns out to be true, it’s sure to be welcomed by those users still clinging to their PlayStation Vitas; the title holds a Metascore of 85 and will be one of the console’s highest profile releases for quite some time.
The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth, originally released in October of last year, expands the original 2014 dungeon crawler with a number of new items, enemies, alternate floors, bosses and endings.
