Series veteran Akuma is finally coming to Street Fighter V, Capcom has today confirmed.
The character, along with his stage, was unveiled moments ago in a brief teaser trailer, broadcast during a livestream for the Capcom Pro Tour North American Street Fighter 5 Finals, sponsored by Red Bull Battle.
The martial artist, who has made multiple appearances in the franchise as an antagonist, will be playable at the Capcom Cup 2016 tournament, which takes place during the PlayStation Experience expo in Anaheim, California next month.
Akuma, who is also a playable character in Namco’s Tekken 7, is expected to be introduced into the title via a future season two DLC release.
