A number of WWE 2K17 season pass holders are being asked to pay again for content that should be included in their initial purchase, Power Up Gaming can today reveal.
While publisher 2K Games claimed last week to have fixed the issue, it seems that eligible users in Asia are still having to fork out twice to download some of the pro wrestling sim’s DLC, including the recently released Legends Pack and New Moves Pack.
The news comes after we received a tip-off from a disgruntled user in Singapore that they were being asked to pay again to download the game’s expansions despite also holding a season pass. We have subsequently being able to independently verify that season pass holders in Region 3 – covering most of Asia – are unable to download content that should be covered in their pass for free via the PlayStation Store. It is currently unknown whether or not Xbox One users are affected.
We have reached out to both Sony and 2K Games to comment on this story.
