Bossa Studios’ critically acclaimed Surgeon Simulator will soon be available in a brand-new experience on the PS4 and PlayStation VR, according to recently leaked trophy data.
Achievement compilation website ExoPhase, which scrapes Sony’s servers for trophy data, has this evening begun listing trophies for a game titled Surgeon Simulator: Experience Reality on PS4.
Originally announced in late 2015 as a HTC Vive and Oculus Rift title, Experience Reality is a standalone VR expansion to the developer’s Surgeon Simulator, whose major-surgery-cum-slapstick-comedy gameplay has proved a hit with streamers over the past several years.
According to its original press release, Experience Reality will see players stranded on Mars, where they are forced to conduct surgery on otherworldly beings and carry out alien autopsies.
While an official announcement has yet to be made regarding the title’s release on PSVR, it is expected to be unveiled as part of this weekend’s PlayStation Experience in Anaheim, California.
