PS4 exclusive action-adventure title The Last Guardian has today received its latest title update.
Patch 1.03 is 167MB in size – the same as title updates 1.01 and 1.02 – and provides “various other improvements and fixes”, according to the game’s update history on the console.
Early downloaders of the patch are reporting, amongst other additions, an improved camera deadzone, the removal of unnecessary button prompts and a smoother frame rate in places.
The Last Guardian, created and directed by Famito Ueda, finally released earlier this month, after nearly a decade spent in development. It is considered to be the spiritual to successor to Team Ico’s 2005 PS2 release, Shadow of the Colossus.
Power Up Gaming described the genDESIGN and SIE Studio Japan-developed title as an “aggravating masterpiece” in our recent review.
