It’s no secret that, at this point, the Assassin’s Creed series is stuck in a bit of a rut. After taking a year off of annualised games to release a feature film based on the franchise, which has not been received well despite it actually being pretty good, Ubisoft desperately needs to find a way to breathe new life into its most famous franchise.
In this episode of The Gentleman’s Pantry, we discuss a few small changes that Ubisoft could make to the next Assassin’s Creed game that would make it much more appealing to a wider fanbase, as well as some potential locations and time periods that would make for some truly great assassinations.
