The puzzle can be a challenging time for all party members, especially with its vague clues. However, we provide the means to help you get through the Faith-Leap Trial in Baldur’s Gate 3. That way, you and your party can continue on your quest to stop The Absolute.
How to Complete the Faith-Leap Trial in Baldur’s Gate 3
To complete the Faith-Leap Trial, players need to memorize the revealed floor path. It is located just in front of the entrance. The best way to see the full layout of the path is to rotate the camera so that it is facing in a birds-eye view above your party. The Faith Leap requires players to navigate over invisible pathways and get to the other side; because of this, the path is secretly laid out, making the trial that much easier. When looking at the layout, players need to follow the tan-colored path that is sprawled out; luckily, the pathway is the same for all players. The path is as follows in the Faith-Leap Trial:
- Go down the right-side stairs, directly in the middle of them, and proceed until you line up with the first platform sticking out of the wall.
- Once at the platform, go left until you are in the middle of both platforms.
- Proceed north until you line up with the edge of the square platforms, and then go right.
- Keep going right until you are lining up with the corner of the square platform in the north of the room.
- Then, head north again slightly until you are aligned just under the white lights on both sides of the room.
- Now, proceed upward until you are aligned with the square platform, then make a slight right advance.
- Head upwards, stopping just above being horizontal with the central platform.
- Move left and stop once your character and the light at the top right of the room are lined up.
- Proceed up a few steps, and then make a left, stepping only two or three times.
- Move up to the end of the room; your character should just be on the left edge of the light.
If you are still curious about the path, the image below details the ways for players to navigate in the Faith-Leap Trial.
It is recommended that players save as they proceed along the path to ensure that if they fail to cross, they do not lose much time and can pick up shortly from where they left off. Additionally, any characters that have the Fly ability can be used to skip the puzzle entirely. Be sure to be on the lookout for party members who possess this power. Ultimately, the Faith-Leap Trial may take some trial and error. However, with the path above and our detailed guide, you should have little to no trouble crossing the daunting room.
That is everything to keep in mind that will help you complete the Faith-Leap Trial in Baldur’s Gate 3.
