How to Complete Crime Doesn’t Pay in Gray Zone Warfare

Players will find Deesabun Nguyen in the Midnight Sapphire region of the map. More specifically, it is near the Employee Housing section of the area. Players are going to need to make a trek if they do not have any of the landing zones near the area. Furthermore, it is best to be cautious due to the enemies everywhere. If you get killed during the mission, you may have to restart. So it is best to bring healing along with your usual weapon loadout. By following our steps below, you will be able to complete Crime Doesn’t Pay sooner, rather than having to hunt down Deesabun:

  1. Accept the mission from The Artisan.
  2. Head to the Midnight Sapphire area of Lamang Island. Players have four different LZs they can use that are near the area: Foxtrot 1, and Hotel 1, 2, or 3. However, it is best to use Foxtrot 1 as it provides the path of least resistance.
  3. Upon landing, make your way south to the area called Employee Housing, located southwest of Midnight Sapphire.
  4. Once you reach Employee Housing, it is best to search the area out and take down any enemies. Furthermore, it is best to do so in stealth, to not bring a lot of heat down on you.
  5. The building is a one-story bungalow with various doors on the front-facing side of it.
  6. When looking at the building, go to the third door on the right and enter the room.
  7. There will be a body with a bag on its head up against the wall, this is Deesabun Nguyen, the missing person.
  8. Confirm the identity by interacting with the body and then head for extract.

Crime Doesn’t Pay gives players some decent rewards to use from guns to EXP. While it does not have the most glamorous offerings in a mission, it is more straightforward than others. It is important to remember that the mission must be turned in at The Artisan to be complete. The missions in Gray Zone Warfare do not complete automatically upon finishing the objectives. Upon talking to the NPC, players receive:

  • 2x AKMN
  • 2,000 EXP
  • 200 Reputation with The Artisan
