The Vatican has several secrets that Indiana Jones can locate while drifting around as Father Gallagher of Boston. Many of these secrets are exclusive to the Holy See, and unveil rewards that help raise Indy’s exploration points while in the area. One such secret is titled Secret of Secrets, and involves opening up a safe with rewards inside. However, it wouldn’t be an Indiana Jones adventure if everything was easily spelled out for you! Let’s review how to solve Secret of Secrest in The Great Circle.
Completing Secret of Secrets in Indiana Jones and The Great Circle
Before you can solve the puzzle, however, you have to find it! The puzzle is located directly outside of the Sistine Chapel, in a small corner of a room decorated with an office desk and two, yellow rolling chairs. There will be a note written by someone named Nicoletti on one of the tables. Pick it up, and you’ll be able to start the puzzle.
Follow these instructions to get past it quickly:
- To start, go around the desk and open the only available drawer. Inside, you’ll see a Planetary chart.
- The Planetary chart will help you understand what numbers are meant to go in the safe combination. Now, you can move on to grabbing the two different statues of saints in the room. First, grab Saint Paul and look at the base of the statue to find two symbols. Match the symbols to the numbers and symbols written on the Planetary chart.
- Now, grab the statue of Saint Paul. The two statues aren’t necessarily hidden. So, just walk around the small room until you find them. Similarly, flip it so that you can see the two symbols painted in white on its base.
- Using the four symbols on the statues, you can match them to the Planetary chart to come up with the numbers 4471. Put that code into the safe sitting on a table directly next to the desk. Inside, you’ll find a Cutman 1 adventure book and an unimportant note.
You can carry the book with you, if you want, but it won’t do anything. Once you’ve collected the other items in the safe, then you’ll have successfully completed the puzzle.
