When it comes to the achievement grind in Revenge of the Savage Planet, some are far easier to unlock than others. If you’re looking for an easy win, then there is one that you can get without even leaving the habitat – ‘Hamster Wheel’.
Well, you might need to leave the Habitat, because this is going to take a fair amount of Alta Bucks to achieve. But don’t worry, here’s everything you need to know if you’re trying to unlock the ‘Hamster Wheel’ achievement.
How to get Alta Bucks in Revenge of the Savage Planet
Alta Bucks are the currency that’s used to buy furniture and items for your Habitat Living Quarters. Inflation has obviously taken its toll over the time you’ve been aimlessly floating through space, and nothing comes cheap, but luckily, there are Alta Bucks to be found scattered throughout Stellaris Prime and beyond.
Just like you fell from the sky and crash-landed on an alien planet, so too did a large number of Alta Coupon Crates. They’re littered around every planet you travel to, and you’ll know you’re in the money with you find red and yellow boxes lying around the place. Not all of them will give you Alta Bucks, but if one of them glitters and has red parts on top, you can get up to 100,000 Alta Bucks out of it.
How to get the ‘Hamster Wheel’ Achievement in Revenge of the Savage Planet
Once you’ve got some Alta Bucks saved up, you can then head to your Habitat Living Quarters and start spending them. To unlock this achievement, you’ll need to place down and use three interactive items.
Not all items that you can purchase can be interacted with, so don’t go into this blindly. Here are a few options for items within the Large Appliances section of the DKO that count towards the ‘Hamster Wheel’ achievement:
