Death Strading 2 is a massive success on the PlayStation 5. The sequel improves upon all original aspects and increases the visual distance by ten folds with Guirella’s DECIMA engine. With such critical acclaim, a question for this exclusive sequel arises: “When Will Death Stranding 2 Come to PC?”
With Sony’s current model, all of their exclusives (my condolences to Bloodborne fans) are now launching to PC through Steam and Epic Games. Still, numerous exclusives are still exclusive to the previous generation consoles. So, will Death Stranding 2 come to and when? Here’s everything we know so far.
Death Stranding 2 PC Release Date
Currently, there is no information available regarding Death Stranding 2’s release date, and Sony’s timed exclusivity is far from over. Considering previous exclusivity schedules, the game will not release on Steam and Epic Games for at least two years.
While Sony is looking to partner up with Xbox, Steam, and other platforms to launch their games universally, the release date is the real issue. Comparing old and recent PC port release dates, we can calculate that the average time remaining until the Death Stranding 2 PC port is around 1.5 to 2 years.
Comparing Previous Release Dates
The time difference between PC and original console release dates varies. Here are some examples:
| Game | Original Release Date | PC Port Release Date |
| Stellar Blade | 26th April 2024 | 12th June 2025 |
| The Last of Us Part II | 19th June 2020 | 3rd April 2025 |
| Death Stranding | 9th November 2019 | July 14th 2020 |
| The Last of Us Part I | 14th June 2013 | 28th March 2023 |
The aforementioned release dates provide a broader view of the situation, showcasing that there is no definite answer to the PC port release dates.
