Hitman’s New Sapienza Trailer Showcases Expansive Level Design

In a new trailer for Hitman, Square Enix and IO-Interactive show off the emphasis on sandbox environments within a new location, Sapienza, for the upcoming game scheduled to release early next year.

The trailer makes it seem as though the stage structure in Hitman will closely resemble that of 2006’s Blood Money by using a more open-ended, exploratory approach while preserving the fluid gameplay of 2012’s Absolution. Agent 47’s versatility within gameplay execution is shown while highlighting the massive, beautiful structures in the setting of Sapienza. According to the accompanying post, “dark secrets and engaging stories are everywhere to be found in charming Sapienza.”

According to a post made in September, Sapienza will be one of three featured maps upon Hitman’s release with three more locals coming in the subsequent months.

Hitman is currently scheduled to release on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on March 11, 2016.
