Earlier this month, a rumour regarding Final Fantasy XV’s release date took form, courtesy of trusted sources from Gematsu. The rumour stated that the latest installment in Square Enix’s long-running franchise would be released on September 30, 2016.
Tonight, during the Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV event, September 30 was confirmed as the worldwide release date for the game.
Final Fantasy XV has been in production for a whopping ten years, and expectations are high for the new RPG. Many are speculating that Final Fantasy XV could potentially be one of the best games in the series.
In addition to Final Fantasy XV, Square Enix is also working on a remake of the hugely popular Final Fantasy VII, as well as a spin-off title from the main series, known as World of Final Fantasy.
