The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is aiming to run at a full 60 frames per second on the Nintendo Switch while undocked.
The news comes via Eurogamer’s Chris Bratt, who got hands-on with the open world title earlier today at a press event for the console in the UK. At 00:50 into the below video, Bratt confirms he was told the final version of Breath of the Wild would run at 1080p/60fps while the Switch is docked, and 720p/60fps while undocked.
Later, a representative for Eurogamer re-iterated in the video’s comments that it had been told that Nintendo ‘was aiming’ for the resolution, although it had also heard the reports that it may run at 900p/30.
This is contradiction to an earlier rumour in which a Nintendo representative purportedly claimed the game would display at 900p on the docked Switch console.
