Hell Let Loose: Vietnam: All Maps

hell let loose vietnam maps feature

Hell Let Loose: Vietnam features a variety of maps to survive and fight on. If you are new to the series, the developers for both this and the original game go for authenticity. When it comes to the first entry, players are fighting on classic World War 2 maps. For example, the beaches of Normandy or even Stalingrad. All while competing against the other team to make up ground and take territory. When it comes to the Vietnam entry, this hasn’t changed. However, with the first game, there are a whole slew of maps that you get to fight through in the game. Mainly because they were added over time. So as players head to the jungles of Hell Let Loose: Vietnam, see which maps you will be dropping into.

All Maps in Hell Let Loose: Vietnam

Overall, there are six maps that players can fight through in the game at launch. They are: Cam Ranh Port, Đắk Tô Airfield, Huế Outskirts, Quảng Ngãi, Thanh Hóa Bridge, and Vạn Tường. Each of the locations is a spot where you can expect to battle against the enemy team. If you want to know more about each one, we break them down for you.

Cam Ranh Port

Players will fight across a militarised dock location at Cam Ranh. Not only was it a base for the Air Force, but also for the Navy. It features various types of biomes that you can fight across on the map. Not just the port itself but also various creeks and even dunes to show nature versus construction. It is a map notable for allowing boat battles to occur more frequently. So if you are looking to gain some XP while using the different weaponized boats, you’re in luck here.

However, if you like close-quarters and prefer gunfights, the dockyards of the map will prove to be your favorite spot to be. The map provides a lot of different types of combat encounters throughout the match. So, if you come across it as you’re matchmaking, be ready for a varied gameplay experience.

Đắk Tô Airfield

Located in the south of Vietnam, this map takes place at a US airbase and its surrounding area. Unlike some of the other maps in the game, this one is riddled with open space. So whether it’s other troops or armor, players are more vulnerable to attacks. Therefore, you need to keep an eye out for your surroundings and make use of any cover you can find. Also, the map allows for great use of any tank units. If you want to get used to the Armor class and help push up the battlefield, it’s a good place to be.

Huế Outskirts

Taking place across the countryside and city, the Outskirts are riddled with mountainous terrain. Players will battle across farmland and a city center as both forces push to take new territory. Infantry can expect to see many battles, both long-ranged and close-quarters, as you traverse the map. Throughout the map are also various rivers to allow for gunboat battles and to move troops throughout the map if needed. Along with the factory on the map, there is plenty to keep in mind while fighting on the Outskirts.

Furthermore, if you like the concept of fighting within the jungles, you’re in luck. Parts of the map are also covered with dense thickets, so you can conceal your position if you choose to snipe. Overall, it’s another great map to experience the full scope of the war that the game aims to provide.

Quảng Ngãi

If you are looking for a dense jungle map, this provides it in spades. Not only that, but also marshlands and jagged cliffs to fight across. Quảng Ngãi is away from any sort of city or urban setting. Players have to be constantly on the lookout for enemies. They can be hiding in the trees or throughout the rivers. It’s going to take tactics and teamwork as you aim to push through this storm-riddled area. But one thing to remember is this isn’t going to be easy for you or your foes.

Thanh Hóa Bridge

An iconic bridge in Vietnam, it’s one of the more strategic locations of the war. It helps to provide supplies and infrastructure to whoever can gain control of it. The map around the bridge is home to various rivers that both teams will be crossing and fighting over. If you are an expert at the gunboat, you will be vital to help gain ground on this map. Additionally, there are different structures like trainyards and villages for your garrison to build spawn points in.

However, just keep your eyes sharp and your head down. There are different spots for snipers to be able to keep you pinned down. It may be good to keep a sharpshooter in your squad to help keep any eagle-eyed threats at bay.

Vạn Tường

A village and a thick jungle are what players can expect when loading into this map. The village itself offers close-range and medium-range combat for infantry to contend with. Therefore, it may be good to have your bayonet ready, in case any enemies are too close for comfort. Or if you are looking to ambush, there is plenty of foliage to hide in and strike from. Just like some of the other maps, players can use boats not just to start assaults, but also to transport their allies.

Hell Let Loose: Vietnam has a unique selection of maps for players to fight on. And while it may not seem like a lot now, over time it’s likely that more will be added. If you are just loading into the game, make sure to get through the training tutorials first. Once you’re ready, you’ll be diving into all of the maps above and see how intense war can be in this series.
